My only concern is will I be pushing this turbo to hard? I'm also running the stock bov/dv on my 9 which should hold up for me unless I'm told to upgrade them.
With a built motor and cams you'll hit 400whp on 93. I would advise upgrading the DV though. The stock one will start leaking around 25psi. You could crush it but I would just upgrade it. Tial if you're on SD, synapse or Cobb if you're staying on the MAF.

I did 402whp on 93oct with the 71HTA. 23psi, Mustang dyno. It's a great little turbo and your goals are definitely attainable. I have a stock Block IX with Tomei 270s. I agree with Kobz in suggesting you replace your BOV and ensure you have no boost leaks. This turbo @ 23-24psi @ redline is already at the top of its range.

Not to hijack the thread but how does the 71hta compare to the old school fp green? They look like they put out similar results.

Wasn't the old school green a larger turbine with a bigger cast comp wheel?

The 71HTA feels exactly like the stock turbo with a lot more power

I believe the green does have a larger turbine, which is why they have to machine the housing. I think they have always done that.
Maybe it's similar to the old White?

I think the FP White was like the 71HTA in that it used the stock turbine.

I don't know a ton about the OG Green, but since it was such an early FP turbo and pre-HTA aero, I would guess that you can get at least the same power from the 71HTA with better spool.

I did a 20g.. Basically took my evo ix turbo and had it rebuilt with a billet wheel and internals. Should be breaking 400+ HP after I swap cams. I am just at or slightly over 400 now on pump.. Has fairly quick spool and pulls great.. Just a different option..

I like the Dominator 1.0XT but that is only based on secondhand research I have done. Just picked one up but have not installed/tuned it. From what I gather it is nearly identical to the BBK Full and can get you to the 400 mark.

Informative review:

This.
FP 18PSI WG actuator bolts on, (or OEM). The HKS design it came with failed at about 10k. Other than that, I have a first generation and have not had any WG flapper, or other issues yet. Love this turbo. I will probably buy another one as a spare -its that good-for if/when my current one needs a rebuild.

Just order the 71hta on their website. It reuses your current turbine housing.

I have a Ti/Al HTA71 I may be willing to sell.
The CHRA and hot side were both brand new, about 120mi ago. Maybe less.

As fun as it is, I need to get a little more peak WHP.

Ill regret it every second I'm not at the track, though LOL. This is, hands down, the funnest turbo I've ever used.
