Naw. FP told me to keep it under 30 so I haven't taken it over 25-27psi with a taper to about 20-21psi, I believe. That's the limit of my fuel, so win/win.

I plan to upgrade to something that will give me a solid 400whp on pump gas, hopefully without a cam swap.

What are you thinking? Blouch 1.0? It's too bad all you have is 91, I made 402whp on 23psi out the top on 93

I would do a cam swap before a turbo change. GSC S2's won't affect spool on a 9, and I made 350whp with them on 91 with a 9 turbo and all the other bolt ons. I also feel like you should be able to hold more boost out the top. Maybe send your exhaust manifold and turbine housing to CBRE for porting to lower back pressure to help make power.

i don't think i could pick up 50whp with the cams, or i would think about it. i know doing the cams can only help maximize the rest of my setup, seeing how i won't loose much bottom end, especially compared to swapping to a larger turbo. i just don't know that it would be enough for the top end. i know the turbo would get me there, for sure.

i gasket matched the turbo side of the mani and housing already (my god, it took forever). not sure how that compares to other porting jobs. do they do more than that?

most likely an MHI FP Red, BB if i could swing one. and yes: 91oct is a bummer for sure. if we had 93oct here, many of my problems would be solved LOL

if only Buttonwillow had an E85 pump LOL

Red's are money on the 9. Should have full boost by, or maybe even before 4K, depending on what you end up running for peak boost. And it will definitely make 400 on 91.

I'm hoping. I'd run as little boost as needed for 400whp

I think my car is 27psi, tapers to 25psi and makes like 420whp on VD with 10* timing out the top. On 91. It makes like 530whp on E85 on VD with a little bit more boost than what English racing tuned it with out the top.

Sounds like I'd be good with the same, considering my cams.
