I've been running my STM setup for about 2k miles now. Works perfect. Very tight fit if you're running the stock radiator/fan setup.

I've been thinking of buying it just simplify my setup. Having the 2 radium cans on either side of the bay takes up a decent amount of space.

I was originally planning on going with the Radium setup until I saw the STM one. Doesn't take up any usable space.

You can see both fittings off the valve cover (-10 where the PCV used to be, -6 on the driver side) and the valve/line leading to the intake manifold where the PCV used to go.

Hard to get a good pic with the intake on, but the lines/fittings butt up against the fan control module with the stock fan in.

Curious, would a 4" intake negate some of the effect of putting the return in front of the turbo?

I haven't gotten my setup completed yet but just wondering..

For those running a mishimoto radiator, it will fit with the factory fan shroud but modification is needed since the mishimoto is thick af.

I also had to modify the bracket for the module that I can post up if needed.

It shouldn't make much difference. A 4" intake would still have low pressure in it and that's all you need is a differential in pressure to pull air out of the crank case. Yes a 3" intake would have more vacum under WOT but thats because it has more of a restriction on the turbo and you wouldn't make as much power.

I got a 4" intake with stock size vacum hose on it. Haven't had any problems yet. But I do plan on upgrading because im going to build the motor for 600 to 700 hp

I have a hta FP red bb and the only big smoke issue I've had is on 20/50 oil if it idles for a while. I think this is the thick oil not draining out well enough and then coming out of the turbo charger. I run 10-40 now . I also get a very small amount of oil film in the charge pipes. I think between the location of the turbo , design of the turbo and the oil level of the engine a small amount of oil can become an issue. I don't see a performance issue and I've accepted it as normal for me.
I have the stock pcv system to the intake . Then a -10 line to an 11"Saikou michi baffled catch can recirculated back to the intake pipe.
I've run the same setup on my stock engine at 500whp and my 2.2 at 600whp. No smoke and no oil consumption on 10-40.

I noticed this too at the track. No smoke on course for a 20 minute session. Car smokes after cool down lap and idling through the pits, and letting it idle for another 10-15 before I shut it down. Doesn't smoke on the street at all the day after a track day. I figure it's just heat. I run a 15w50 all the time.

I ended up going with this Moroso air/oil separator for the valve cover to the IM
Amazon.com: Moroso 85474 Universal Air/Oil Separator: Automotive Amazon.com: Moroso 85474 Universal Air/Oil Separator: Automotive

and a vented ebay can for the Valve cover to the intake, with the vents cut off and welded up a-10 on the top going to the intake.

I still need a check valve for the VC to IM side and I just bought all the fittings to get it mounted up so I don't know how well it works but that air/oil separator was intriguing to me since the SR20 in the Silvias came with one like that from the factory. Interested in seeing if this cures my oily smell with the windows down.

Sorry to bring this old thread back, but could you share how you modified the factory shroud and fan speed controller to fit? I have a Koyo radiator, which seems to be about the same size as a Mishimoto and I can't get the can fit with the lines on.

What is the benefit of going dual port vs the single port?

The only difference I see is that it is hooked up to the front of the block. What is the purpose?

Thanks

I wouldn't use that port on the block, a lot of oil comes out of it. So, just get the single port can.
