oem bearing thickness

im in the middle of getting everything around for a built block and i am now at the point i want to pick out the bearings.

i have built many honda engines and they have different color bearings that respond to different thicknesses, does mitsubishi do this and if so, has anyone measured how they each one is. this will help greatly in building the motor as i can just have everything measured and order the bearings based upon the clearances desired.

thanks!

If your using OEM parts then this will give you the Standard clearances to get you started, But as for a Tell-All thread, you will have to look around the site. I had to do a bit searching myself to find all the information i needed.

Plenty of threads like this....

If your crankshaft is still within specifications then you should not have a issue. Just get a Good Dial Bore gauge and dial Calipers to check measurements.
