No, like find some core pans and do runs of 3-4. you seem to have enough interest to do that and turn over inventory every few months.

He says three is the minimum amount to get him to inhale the burned-off paint fumes from the builds

Why doesn't he just media blast them? Literally took me less than 10 mins to blast 2 layers of paint off my pan. Also leaves a much nicer surface finish for powdercoat to adhere.

He doesn't want to be stuck with money invested. He's only doing this as a favor and not really looking to get that much into it. If enough people come through, cool. If not then that's okay too. I save a decent of money if he gets no orders.

Not sure. I'd assume he doesn't have a way to media blast them himself. His shop is in the boonies so getting them to a place that does isn't too easy. Then he'd want to powdercoat. All that drives prices up. Believe me, he's thought of that LOL. He says they literally do the pans at the end of the day so the shop can be aired out by morning.

OH, those. I've cleaned the HELL out of a pan but could't get the finer particles out from in between one of the baffles and the pan surface. I tried for a week LOL.

An EvoM member by the screen name of ace75 has asked to buy two pans. That means he only needs one more for an order. Feel free to contact him. If it works out, let me know and I'll forward your info to the guy that makes these. If anyone that has bought one can chime in, that would be nice.
Again: I make no money off these, in fact it cost me $20-40 per order, but I don't mind helping.

I have one of these pans and love it. I'll be wiring my oil pressure sensor for a more thorough track test this summer. Thanks to kaj for doing a favor to the Evo community.

No problem, dude. To be honest, I never heard back from anyone, so I wasn't sure how well they went over LOL. I'll let Matt know. He'll be stoked. I've seen a huge improvement in temps and pressure has been better than expected. Definitely worth the cash. FWIW I paid a LOT for mine. They are cheaper, now that he has the CAD files all set up.
