Nevermind. I though you measuring the bores and got that out of roundness...lol. Bearings get thinner towards their edges, so that sounds right. Measuring installed bearings you only measure vertically, because, as you saw, they open up as you deviate from vertical.

Alright boys, crank mains were set at .0025" rods the same, basically everything was about to get bolted together when i gapped one of my secondary rings too much, ended up with .030 thou, which is pretty freaking big from what I think

the rest were all 20 top 25-25 bottom compression ring,

so i ordered 4 more sets, should i tighten them up a little?

By the way, i ended up using king xp series race bearings, using the standard bearings, I was able to achieve the 0.0025" on both mains and rods on my new billet crank, i guess they make the race series thinner as is,

just got off the phone with Wiesco, they said 0.018" on top ring, 0.028" on bottom ring. seems excessive, they said the larger bottom ring will help with ring flutter, thoughts and ideas?

How much power do you plan on making? That dictates upper ring gap, and then the lower ring gap should be 4-5 thou bigger. I do most at .018 upper, and .022 lower. It's funny Wiseco would recommend those gaps, it doesn't even follow what they recommend in the instructions for file fitting their rings...
