ACT clutch exploded?

Wow, Curious to see what exactly failed that damaged the housing. Workmanship (installation) could still be the cause but unlikely after 14k miles
Been in the OEM warranty industry for 27 years. Totally understand the grief here. Most OEM warranties, including the one I work for, would not cover the "consequential" damage. But we do have what we call "policy" consideration, but that is usually for the very unusual case, or large volume customer

Several of us here in our area using the xtss. They shift great at all rpm and have held up strong for long periods of time.

I've decided to go to RRT Motorsports in Connecticut for my build since it's a relatively local shop and I've been told they do great work. I spoke with Raif the other day and he answered the phone immediately, provided great information, and was very reassuring. I will be bringing my car to him this weekend so I'll keep updating as he tears into it and I find out what happened! Should be up and running by mid week next week!
how many miles are on the clutch?
who did the install?
nothing is indestructible.
I just hit 14,000 miles with the clutch and it was installed by MAPerformance. I definitely don't expect it to be indestructible, but I figured it would last more than 14,000 miles with zero launches... I guess there's no real way of knowing if anything will last, but I wouldn't think it would explode under "normal" driving conditions.
