Wastegate actuator arm snapped!

I wouldn't try to weld the actuator rod. You have two options: 1) order a replacement actuator from HKS or 2) die cut a thread onto the broken end of the actuator arm, and get a longer turnbuckle made up to fit which maintains the same overall length.
the same thing happened to me on my tomei arms m7960....instead of the actual arm, the part that mounts to the flapper valve sheared off....what a POS. try contacting HKS usa, im sure they will be able to assist you in getting a replacement.

You'll want to make sure its welded to a length that allows you to have some preload. Don't just weld it while its attached to the flapper because it will cause it to blow open slightly and hurt spool.
