I have a stock 06 lancer evo 5 speed. I need a clutch and I want to go aftermarket because eventually I want to make 400-500HP. I want a clutch that will support that kind of power but also have some kind of comfortability cause its my DD. Keep in mind that the clutch will be installed on a stock motor and tranny until I can start to make some power out of it. I was recommended by summit racing a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutche DF188801 (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/c...i/model/lancer). Looks good and the descrip. sounds good, does anyone run this and can speak on it? I was thinking ACT but im not sure which model for my application. THANKS FOR ALL AND ANY HELP!!!

 

I'm using the comp stage 2 sprung setup. It's good for I believe near 500wtq. It is quiet and has really smooth engagement. I went from a exedy twin to the comp setup for driveability purposes and I love it. And it was like $500.

 

competition clutch? I used a stage 2 competition clutch on my 2000 civic SI turbo and I loved it too, but I have heard they are more of a "Honda" company which kind of sketched me out to go with them for the 4wd evo. ill have to look into it.
