Tilton Carbon clutch life span

I see old threads (2007-2008) talking about the Tilton carbon clutches. I currently have a Evo 8 with one installed. I personally have put 5,000-6,000 miles on this clutch (street miles). It has alway engaged late but am wondering what the average life span of this clutch was? The transmission was pulled 2,500 miles ago disc's looked like they were in good shape.

Anyone with personally experience of how long it lasted them?

I have a tilton carbon twin. shared some info in this thread. not gonna retype it here. may have some useful info in it for you. my clutch has 5-10k street miles and is still working pretty much like it was when new. but you will want to read up on the other things I have to say about tilton carbons

From what I've seen with tilton packs, the wear is proportional to how hard you drive. So if you drive easy, it should last for a long time. Typically the throw-out bearings go before the packs.
