My car is currently at Buschur as we speak and they installed an HKS 264 intake and an HKS 272 exhaust. I did some research and decided that was the best setup. Helps the idle and also helps the top end power.

My car idles just fine with 272's, FWIW, and the top end pull is pretty nice.

I have 272's and experience loopy idle but I rather like it. It's going to get old quick I'm sure so I plan on getting a stand alone to correct this.

To be perfectly honest, David Buschur is the only one qualified to answer your question. He knows more than anyone else on this forum. Just ask him.

Mr. Buschur, hopefully you see this and can enlighten us with your personal opinion from experiences.

I can tell you that he uses the 264/264 combo on their project car. The 272's put your powerband a bit higher than you'll use that often. Hell, Bullish racing uses 264/264's in thier 6 second Solara's!! If its good for them, I think I'll be goin that route.
