4G64 block, part number

I'm planning to build a 4G64 with forged internals & an E9 head. I need an empty 4G64 block, I contacted the dealership & they gave me two part numbers for the 4G64 block: MD350944 (eclipse '00-05 / galant '99-03) & a less expensive MD379012 (outlander '03).
Which one is the correct part # to be used?

Or do you know of a reputable vendor that would supply an empty 4G64 block at a good price, new or used (in good shape)?

Maybe this will help you some. Looks like there were several other cars that also used the 4g64

I'm trying to find a used 4G64, I found this engine. Did any of the 4G64 models come with a Mivec head & E-Throttle?!

Good question, can you tell if it has a timing belt or chain?

I would think so. I dont know if the newest ones use a timing chain like the evo X or not. I think they do.

This engine turned to be a 4G69 not a 4G64, would this block work? I already ordered a BC 4G64 stroker kit & new 4G63 parts for the build such as the timing belt, head gasket, oil pump.....etc

not really as 4g69 runs same deck height as 4g63.. for 4g64 specific build that runs longer rods than 4g63 you need a g64 block..
