I'm not sure if they even make an oem one for the 4g64/evo head setup. From what i was told you would have to get one custom made - oem 4g63 head gasket bored out. AMS no longer sells them but AWD motorsport still does or you can check with EnglishRacing they run custom Cometic gaskets.

Not what I'm wanting to hear... May have to drive to Chicago to buy one. Anyone have any more insights? Thanks for the reply!

I've heard from a reliable source that a 2000 Mitsu Eclipse OEM gasket will work. Can anyone confirm?

I ran an OEM 4G64 head gasket on my stroker with zero issues. I will see if I can find the number quick.

Confirmed, this is the right headgasket for the job. Two Fel-Pro gaskets covered in copper spray sandwiched together survived an entire weekend of road-racing at near 27 psi!

One would assume it's the same quality. Is your block bored over? If not, then you don't need a custom head gasket for it. I'm running a perma-torque MLS gasket by fel-pro for a stock bore block, and seems to be holding up fine. Granted, it is in an n/a 3g eclipse with the g4js head, so it's a little bit of a different situation.

In short, I say comparing oem to oem, quality should be the same

I just bought a JE Pro Seal 87.5mm. Its seen to be a good head gasket.
