knock after 2step

So here is whats going on. As I lay into the 2step, there is no light flashing, as soon as I let the clutch out and start rolling, the cel light is flashing at me for knock. It continues to flash through first gear and goes away in 2nd and never returns through the whole pass. I have contacted my tuner, who is gonna look at my log.

Its showing up to 21 counts on the log. My afrs are still rich. I have searched under the hood for things vibrating and found nothing so far. I am running an exedy triple disc, so it has plenty of chatter as usual.

Is this something to really be concerned about or is it just the sensitivity of the knock sensor need adjusting?

It hasnt done this all year till the shootout, when temps were getting a little cooler.

If it hasn't done it till now sounds like possible knock sensor going bad. Does it do it in any other gear or just off the line into first?

Knock sensor is very sensitive. Requires* to be torqued to a specific number.

You would figure if it was a tad loose it would knock every time you shifted though. Idk tighten it up and we will see i guess.

Yea, it doesnt show knock in any other gear. Just on the launch once I release the clutch out.

Ah, I was going to say the transition from the launch maps to your regular fuel and timing tables isn't always that smooth, and can induce knock. Are you sure that launch maps aren't enabled?
