Hi all!


from my understanding, the evo 6 gearbox's are weaker than the evo9 gearbox's. can a evo 9 gearbox directly swap into a evo6?


knowing the cost for a proper race box, I think ill prefer going this route first.


or if anyone can recommend an affordable alternative? my mechanic said he is good with the PAR gearset people, just kinda seeing if I can leave that as a last option.

From what Ive read on the MLR forum, the trans boxes are the same. See this thread search here of a guy going the other way (EVO6 box into an 8)
