can somebody tell me for sure if its possible to use old evo second gear and syncro on evo 8 gearbox ?

i've tried to search and found different opinions on , some say there is difference in synchros/gears on 1-2 gears and some say only synchros are not interchangeable

 

the second gear interchanges. the difference between the two is how the syncro is designed. you can use a second gear scyncro from evo 8 on the evo 4 gear. but you cant use evo 4 syncro on evo 8 gear.
