Gsc s2 should work with either motor.

I'm on a 2.0L running R2 making north of 600fwhp Evoscan says i'm in the 820 range lol.
Then again I have Mivec and the car aside from cold start idles pretty well. You can't even hear the lopeyness of a big cam at idle.

with that said. by the results and threads I searched and reviewed no question on the compromise I'd go r2. I had s2 in my 2.0 and they're currently in a 2.4 build. if.you want to buy a part that far ahead you have to assume some risk and make a compromise. it would be well suited, and who cares about a little lag extra.

You can reach 600 hp with either cam. Id go with a s2 since i have them i can tell you they are great... I love my mid range top end. Also spool up is pretty great.

I get a stall here and there in the summer eith ac on but hey....
