Rocker arms fell off!
If I ever crash the engine like this I'm going to install cast pistons with a better rods. I like a cast piston because of better oil control and longevity. A better rod because the stock rod is a weak point.
I was out in the Evo this evening, in the dark, in traffic, running errands. I was zipping by everyone. Tires, brakes and suspension allow for that. I had to tell myself - slow down before you attract unwanted attention.
Anyway, I write this because you are going to hear that this is your great opportunity to make massive HP. You, of course, should do what you want but I suggest a different route.

first of all, getting better rods that work with pressed in piston pins of the stock cast pistons is no simple feat..
if you want better pistons that will work with floating pins then look into Mahle forged pistons that have much smaller PTW and will be ok for the 500 - 550 hp application
I agree with not going OTT with power but this looks more and more like complete engine rebuild...
