Az,

That seems to be normal with the Evos. Mine does the same thing. I think it has to do with the fact that the 4G63 runs likes Hell and hesitates until it's warm.

I'll tell you if I'm wrong and my clutch goes soon.

man i am lost??? should i go head and buy the turbo kit and then i have no money for the clutch or should i spend the money on a good clutch from now???

I think when your clutch goes you'll know it. Mine engages kind of high too and shudders in the morning, but I think the stock clutch is just a little soft. I autocrossed for the first time this weekend (see <-----) and really launched the **** out of it a few times. Going into 2nd gear on full boost the car still ripped it up like it should.
What I'm saying is lets not be hypochondriacs, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed and sweet talkin it.

please don't expect your stock clutch to hold with an upgraded turbo. My clutch went, along with many others, with just a turbo back and a bosst controller. It's like having a baby, get the crib and the room decorated, then everything will be allset when your baby arrives.
