Well the day has come, my evo decided to break a piston. So now I have the opportunity to build it. It seems the block is still good, the head is questionable ill post pictures to double check with you all but it has some nicks in it. I know it will atleast need a valve job. But with all that aside here are my goals. I am looking to make about 6 to 700 whp. The parts I currently have are bw s366, bc 280 cams, bc dual valve springs, kiggly hla, arp l19 head studs, cometic head gasket. what do you all recommend for internal parts? and what manifold should I use? id like to keep ac if at all possible. thanks in advance. I am also still trying to do some research on fuel setups for this kind of power so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

does the head look salvageable from the pictures? the block doesn't have any scoring or scratches that I could see.

 

my advice, go over to the Dyno tuning and results thread, find a few examples that are achieving the goals you are looking for, and replicate what they did. No need to reinvent the wheel.
