Post Please help!! weird issue

hey guys. ok i have a evo 8 gsr with exedy twin disk and a stock trans. i never launch my car or beat on it frequently. is 618hp dont know if that makes a different. the problem im having is that the car will do this ramdonly like every 3 days or so. you put it on 1st gear to take off like from a stop and the car will feel like its in 3rd gear. you have to revved it to 5k and ride the clutch and 1st gear will go up to 50mph if you put it on 3rd gear afterwards the car will go back to normal. but is like 1st and 2nd is lockout upon take off. this only happens in 1st gear to 2nd gear. sorry for paragraph, anybody have an idea?

is at 4k to 5k like it was in 3rd gear. someone told me to check the linkage on the trans to make sure nothing was loose. i try to put it on 1st gear or 2nd and they wont grab when the issue occurs. if i turn off the car wait like 10 minutes everything is back to normal
