A "clean" EVO I to III spec 4G63T will cost you like $1500 to $3500 (depends on conditions) and you also have to have the FWD gearbox (if you want to swap it into GS-T) or AWD gearbox with the motor (for GSX), ECU, harnesses, IC, piping, turbo rebuilt or new turbo and some other goodies....that should easily be over $3000 to $5000 for parts only. And then you have the labor, which would not be less than $1,500 for this kind of job (you can always do it yourself if you can handle all these)
My estimate is tend to be on the "high" side of the picture, it's always good to be conservative when you're talking about $$$, right?

True, I have seen someone putting an 20B (3 rotor engine outputing over 300hp) into an AE86....crazy mod...
why would you want to?
for the rods? no crankwalk? whats your reasoning?
I would say go for a 6-bolt (90-early92) 4g63 from a DSM. wit nothing more than a wire splice and a SLIGHT motor mount change it will go in fine. The 6bolts have bigger rods than the stock 2gen motor and 7.8:1 pistons (although I would reccomend fabbing your 95+ pistons on them or just going with a whole new rod/piston combo [crower/JE] )
see www.magnusmotorsports.com on how to do the 'easy version' of this swap.
If you need anymore info let me know
