Hello dsm gurus!

To make my story short, have a spare block that im building.
Bought it as "4g63 Block" from Evo 8.

The issue, the new gates water pump part number 42577

Is not enough to cover the cavity on the block!

With new water pump. See the exposed cavity?



Do i have a wrong water pump ordered?

Or i have different 4g63 block? If so, what block is it?

The pump is for a evo 8. You sir have a dsm 4g63 requires gates 42163

 

Hey man, go to the auto parts store and ask for a 03 outlander water pump and see if that fits. You might have a jdm block.

Jdm or evo 4.... Yep, I think that outlander pump will solve the problem! I found that out the hard way several years ago lol.

 

Get a refund if possible
