Cast steel is not cast iron. If you welded like that on a Borg housing it would snap right off, period. Search "weld cast steel" and "weld cast iron" HUGE differences.
But by all means keep posting your defense expert welder that you are.

Yeah keep searching the internet in an effort to cover your ingnorance, thinking what you read is actually how reality is like.


Try to learn how to weld both types of metal together instead, through propper knowledge and through practise, because posting crap on a forum does not make you knowledgable.
