6 speed tranny after engine blown!
Hello Evom
What will happen to your transmission if you windowed your block
At 70 MPH?
And how will you diagnost the tranny if its damage
Inside?
Tranny is on new long block already and front wheel is spinning
In 1st gear just like in neutral.
Its supposed not to spin in 1st or any engage gear right?
Need help

I've done it but with a different combo. About 40 MPH at the time.
It took a tooth off a gear.
Or rather more than 1 tooth off more than 1 gear.
The tell tale sign is that it's now got a rattle when idling which it didn't have before.
Rather than being unlikely, it's extremely likely to happen because to window a block you're probably going to have a piston get stuck in the bore, that in turn seizes the engine until the conrod breaks, that puts immense stresses right through the drivetrain.
The idea is to check it out BEFORE you put it all back together.

For the spinning wheel test to be meaningful you need to block the transmission input shaft and all the other wheels from turning or at least observe that they are not.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, engine was windowed due to oil starvation at the track.
Front wheels are spinning in gears (drive shaft not attach, rears not)
Maybe due to a ACD pump not powering yet?
ACD pump still empty and not energize as for the moment
