Boost leak?

Hey guys! Yesterday while driving I noticed my boost gauge needle is frozen just below 0 and wont even try to move when i give it gas. The car is also backfiring more than usual and sounds like a harley when it's stopped haha. Once in a while it also almost dies twice in a row when stopped at a light then goes back up to normal. Tomorrow I'm going to start at the gauge and see if its a leak and was just wondering if anybody knew what it is for sure or had this happen before. Thanks!

If it's a boost leak, it's gonna be a pretty big one to exhibit that sort of behavior. That would make it pretty easy to find.
