How to tell, boost leak
I just installed an intake on my MR and I'm no mechanic, so is there a way to check for boost leak , It still hits about 19psi, but not on every shift. I might just be paranoid but very curious.
any help would help thanks

Make a leak tester. It is a coupler that goes into the mouth of the turbo that has an comp nipple on it. You pressure your system with 30lbs and check for leaks. Some guys use an air pump with a valve stem stuck into the coupler.

It will all have a taper to them stock Evo's(nonMR's) hit around 19psi the drop to 16psi. MR's hit arounf 20 psi then drop to I think 17Psi. Your stock boost gauge on your MR is probably not to accurate also. I think your stock one is also is in Bar if it is 1.30 is about 19 psi.

If i till hit the 21 psi , does that mean there is no leak, because I installed my own AEM intake w/ hard pipe. and I think i'm paranoid but i feel it a little sluggish, but it still hits 21psi
