can you run a stock BOV to atmosphere..

I messed up, got a Injen UICP for a really good deal and im close to my tune date, I now realize the Injen UICP will not work with my HKS intake... But I am on SD, would it work if I just did not recirc the BOV, plugged it into the UICP and not the intake, and just plugged the port for the intake with a silicone cap? or is there a way to recirc with radiator hose and not have it look janky as all hell... trying to get some ideas here as I am trying to work with what I have

You do not need to recirc on speed density. You may be sucking in unfiltered air under some conditions, especially if its not crushed but it should be fine.

I figured that, I dont know this just seems kind of half-assed to me and Im really trying not to cut any corners I think I will just have to get a new UICP or a injen intake and just do it right

Why not just keep stock UICP? there's no real added benefit of UICP except looks at normal power levels

mainly looks I really dont like the stock ones plus I just got the pipes powder coated and it looks great, plus im stepping up from stock to Fp red, cams, springs, bigger fuel pump and so on... dont even want the thought of the UICP hindering any power even though I know it really does not make a huge difference

It's not going to hinder power at all. pipe size is the same between the two

I allready did this with an after market BOV, tried it both ways actually. I could hardly notice any difference in my logs. If anything, the car would go a little rich when you let off throttle and the air blows off to atmosphere. In the end, I ran it stock and BTW, the OEM hose IS basically a radiator hose, so whats wrong with that, Its black and you can tuck it a way.
