Post 4G63 swap

Dose anyone one what evo half cut to use to swap a 4G63 into a Mitsubishi Mirage and if so what year Mirage will work and how hard is the swap / how to go by it / do it?
I would like to turn a Mirage into a 4G63 powered FWD monster and would like to know how.

Do you just want to drop the engine in or get the ENTIRE front end? I've done both on my mirage coupe.

Getting the engine and transmission in is quite simple. Just note that you'll run into intercooler fitment issues and if you use the mirage coupe oem hood you'll run a bit hot as there are no vents.

If you use the oem bumper for the mirage, you'll have to get a small intercooler or cut the bumper.

For the latter one, I got a CP9A (Evolution 6) front end. Here are some pics:

Here is my previous set-up. I was gunning for a mirage-asti look. Unfortunately I suffered a rod-knock and swapped out the evolution 4 engine with an evolution 6 engine.

Anyway, get an evolution 4-5-6. If you want the whole front end, you'll have to change the nose frame, the fender, the headlights, the bumper, and
the front bumper. you'll also need to massage the fenders as well to make it flush with the door. You'll want to get the skirts as well, but since the
mirage coupe's wheelbase is shorter, you'll have to cut it.

If you're going to use evolutions 5 and 6, you'll have to add rear fender flares and change the rear bumper. In all cases, you'll have to change the wing. It will be a labor intensive and time consuming process.
