SS Turbo to manifold Studs

They are not inconel. However, they are quite serious and some exotic stainless steel. I would not go replacing those with some random stainless steel bolts. Especially since it cannot be confirmed what characteristics of the bolts are (due to the pre-WWII proprietary markings). The engineer that inspected the turbo to mani bolts found the torque procedure quite unique and he believed it centered around properly pre-compressing the Belleville double washer design. This is to accommodate expansion/contraction of the joined parts.

the only place you can use a normal A2 ss bolt is on the exhaust, after the turbo.. for connecting the parts of the exhaust.... they will not stand up to the tq nedeed and heat of the manifold to turbo joint.. Considering that there is really zero trouble with stock studs, they are really cheap for what they are...
