Ok your on SD tune tephra V7 I take it? The target afr map is only for minor tweaking, you need to make major changes in fueling with the rpm VE and KPA tables. If you try and do to much swing in the afr tables it simply won’t work, it will do just what your saying, adjustments make no difference no matter how lean you go.
For the last time get a tuner who knows evo’s and stop trying to figure it out yourself. If you tuned on a bad cylinder and make a huge cam change without a retune and expect it to have good afr’s your clueless. I’m tired of arguing with Fred and trying to convince you what the problem is.
Please don’t take that wrong but it’s true, and I’m done being a broken record.

That was yesterday or day before. Wot is good. 2winscrill I sent Tom at tscomp an email but he hasn’t replied. So you’re saying adjustments in fueling won’t do it? That’s what my tuner was trying to do. I don’t know much about tuning but trying to learn what I can. I’m willing to get a better tuner just waiting on tscomp reply and only half decent tuner around here is 2 hours away. Do any of you have s2 cams on sd? If so did something like this happen when you switched cams? What cams were on there before?

Yes and yes, when i switched to my kelford 284hl cams (huge cams) I had to reduce my rpm ve in the lower rpm’s significantly (less fuel). I can’t find the post but John Bradley had a post on VE tables being out way off can cause the afr target tables to be unresponsive. For instance if your having to set the afr table @ 15:1 to achieve 12:1 out the exaust, your way off on your VE tables. If your tuner adjusted the RPM VE and had no change in afr, your probably going to need to reload your rom, something is way wrong.

idk if he adjusted rpm ve but i saw him choose low octane map and in the low loads go way up from 14.7 and no cigar. Idk how to even find the table but if i post the map on here can you take a look at it? compare it to your ve tables or maybe tell me what to adjust just to make sure thats it so i can be in peace while i way to get a response from tom.

Wrong ^^^^^^^ bad info.
relay #3 is always on (power applied) during idle/no boost,
https://www.roadraceengineering.com/...elpumpinfo.htm
There's even a mistake in that diagram.
For relay 3 "off "should say "on" and on should say "off".
That's due to being a different sort of relay which uses break contacts instead of make contacts.

I copied all of the definitions in the rommetadata folder and it didnt work. Then i copied them into rommetadata, mitsubishi, evo folder and still didnt work. I go through the options of trying to find my rom id but it doesnt let me select anything for the last option which would be evo_7base or something like that. Its just blank. Not sure what im doing wrong here.
