Jerks and quirks
I haven't, but its on my list. I want to drop and clean my fuel tank as well and change the filter, but mechanics around here seems to have too much money, or too much vehicles to work on.
1 of the things I'm also planning to do is change my O2 sensors, reason I think I should is when my car heats up, it runs really great, and the AFR seems to say this as well. Also clean my injectors, and my AYC is crying too often.
Here is a very fact, no one I know of, or anyone I know with Evos, knows anyone here that can see about AYC. All the guys I know with AYC has them "disconnected" or has changed their rear to one without AYC.
To add to the kool aid, the 1 mechanic who does have some idea about Evos, is possible moving back to Jamaica ( I hope not). I saw him this morning and he says, hurry up cause I'm leaving.
Sigh..but slow and steady.

So I finally got the "mechanic/tuner" to look at my car about 2 weeks back and what we noticed is that every time he hooked up his laptop to the greddy the car worked fine, all the way up to 7000 rpm and shift, beautiful. when unplugged, the breaking up starts, so he says "something is wrong with the greddy".
so 1 day i decided my roof light wasn't working so I'm going to check it, and when i opened it, I realized the bulb/fuse was tilted and weren't making contact, so I pushed it back into place, that was the beginning of a nightmare, it basically f-kd everything, even my alarm wasn't working. My rpm would dip all the way down to a stall, my alarm would panic, my radio won't work, you name it, it was an issue.
Me being the "like every thing to work the way it should" kinda guy, I felt like crying blood. I immediately got to the fuse box to check all and saw it was a 15 fuse blown. So I replaced the 1 in the roof light and the 15, and "insert a magic word here" everything worked, even the breaking up stopped i could go all the way to 7000 rpm and all good.
However, I can only seem to get it with 18 psi or less boost, even at 19, it breaks up. My greddy profec b spec 2 is set at 35 %, 35 gain, 19 for the range I want it, 23 for warning, and 1% to back off ( thats the best way I can describe my settings, not in the car atm). I am unsure if the controller is causing it to break up at 19 but I'm content with 18 psi for now, maybe Ill try the boost controller again 1 day when I'm feeling brave and stupid for the 20 psi. Also I closed the gap on the plugs to .025.
Few days after, my front end started making noise, but got that sorted, now unto the next problem I have, RUST! under my car, right behind the gas tank, sigh.
Just wanted to give you guys an update, just in case...its good your doctors know your entire medical history, so I keep you guys informed
