71hta or fp red htz mhi

I understand that these are two different beast but I had the red in my possession now. The red is journal bearing and in excellent condition with less than 1000 miles. I’ve been hesitant on putting it on because I’m not sure how much of a difference it will be in spool and charatestiscs compared to stock turbo. I’m wondering if the 71hta would suit my daily duties with a possibility of track duty. I would love to make 450 or so with good response on pump(e85 not close enough to switch)

I know this is may be all confusing but my end goal is a turbo that can make good power and also be tracked. I tracked the car for the first time last year and had a blast! I’ve thought about going back but my goals for a middle of the road big power street car is still there

Neither turbo will make 450 on pump. The red will get you closer though.

What he said. I'm currently on a red and made 430 on pump with supporting mods.
