Question Lifter Upgrade?

Hey everyone,
I recently changed the oil in my Evo 8 GSR 2003. I changed it with 10w-40 and the ticking was real bad, so I changed to a thinner oil 5w-30 and the ticking is there, just a lot quieter. You have to really listen to hear it, but it is definitely there. I will give it a flush like I done so last service, but if unsuccessful, what lifters would you guys recommend me upgrading to? I've heard mixed reports about GSC lifters, where they play up as they're a little taller than the OEM lifters and make head work difficult - some even being defective from straight out of the box. I've also heard of ITM but they seem like cheap sh*t. I've also heard of Topline and they seem ok. OEM revised generation 3's are too pricey at $46 EACH. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

The new style of GSC lifters is he way to go, they are the same size as OEM, the older version was taller and required work on the valve seat to fit, however the new version doesn’t require anything, drop in affair.
