Evo 8 cams

Looking at purchasing an evo 8 that has cams (GSC 272). I don’t know a lot about what changing cams does to certain aspects of the car but I noticed resting idle was at 1200. Is that normal or should I be concerned?

Hello

Wouldnt be too concerned. Idle is not a decision maker IMO. The EvO may need a tune?

Id be more concerned w/all the other important pre-buy checks (i.e compression, history, thorough pre-buy inspection)

1100-1200rpm idle is pretty normal for an Evo with large cams.
