Evo 9 turbo on Evo 8 Question

Sooo got an Evo 9 Turbo finally, also have coolant lines, and the J pipe. My understanding it I can reuse the oil feed, but need the 9 oil drain. Anyone that has does the swap have a picture of what I need? I am looking at picture of the kit https://www.lancershop.com/customer/...cat=163&page=1 and it doe snot show the drain? I also wondered if I cut my VIII drain, and used a rubber hose if that would work? Any help would be appreciated, especially with pictures. Thank you.

Drain is the same, feed is different. You can ben the feed line to work, but it's not recommended. It oculd cause any sludge built up in it to break free and get into the turbo. FP sells a kit to install the 9 turbo on the *. It includes everything you need.

Thank you for your quick response. I have all the gaskets and such already etc, so dont need the kit, but I swore he said the drain was different. So, he feed is different, I will look more into this, thank you!

Nothing to look into. Look at the FP kits. They don't come with a drain for a reason...It's not needed. You need water pipes, oil feed, and the compressor outlet pipe.

Or the Evo 9 feed line to make it simple.
