Need help finding a fitting!!!

Hello everyone. I bought a built Evo 9 head for my Evo 8 after having a a catastrophic engine failure leaving me to replace it. I wasn’t aware of the different way the differences when it came to how the heater core hoses. The Evo 9 cylinder head as most of you know has a line that comes off the cylinder head as pictured below. With the cylinder head I bought it has been deleted. I however need heat in my Evo so I’m going to have to find a fitting that will replace the stock one so I can have heat. Does anyone know where I can find a threaded fitting that will work for this? I was going to try Fastenal, but the guy working today didn’t seem to know much about what they carried and told me to come back at a later time. Any info would help. Thanks in advance.

You can tap and drop a brass barb fitting on it as I did the same when mine broke during shipping.

Also, doesn't that fitting connect to the throttle body and not the heater core??

Are you doing a Mivec conversion? You can't exactly just slap a 9 head on an 8 and ship it...

👆🏻What he said. Also that fitting is not for your heater core. Those come off the side of the engine near the thermostat housing.

I understand that you cannot slap and go with the head. It has had the mivec deletion done. I’m just looking for a place I can get a fitting that works. On the Evo 8 one of the heater core lines go to the thermostat housing and the other to the water pipe. Where do they go on the 9? One on the water pipe and where does the other go if not the cylinder head?

Does anyone have a picture of the Evo 9 heater core hose routing?
