Buschur Racing block with je pistons 10.0:1
My little brother gave me his car 2003 Evo 8 with a built Bushcur block fitted with JE Pistons with 10.0:1 compression ratio. It runs and drives well but I think it could get more power out of it. The tuner he used did a street tune so the powre numbers are not known. Should I tear it apart and put in deep dish pistons to lower compression ratio or keep it and run e85? It currently has a Walbro 255, Fic 750cc injectors, Tomei turbo, Tomei 270 regular lift cams, ETS inter cooler, Synapse blow off valve and stock valve train.

If you plan on running E85 often, keep the 10.0 since E85 is better with high compression (10.5 or more). You should get bigger injectors since E85 usually needs 30% more fuel. How mant miles are on the built engine? You may want to do compression and leak down test to determine if you should refresh your engine before pushing it harder (just preventing failure, which will require new engine).

Your tuner should have been able to give you a VirtualDyno log to give you an idea of what power its making. If you have a tactrix cable you can go log the car and get an idea of what power its making.
Definitely get an E85 tune ASAP! It's going to really transform the car!
