Fly by wire (dbw) from evo x to evo 5

Hi guys

have anyone done this in their evo 4-6? I have seen that you can take the throttle body and gas pedal from a evo x tho.

You'll need an ECU that can read DBW like a stand-alone

I know there is a kit for evo 7-9 with evo 10 pedal. How did you do with the wiring? Your own or evo 10 harness? Why did you go with dbw?

Plug itself is probobly not available as oem part
I bought my throttle body together with plug from auto recycler, same as well gas pedal plug.
For the throttle side you could use some honda throttle connector
just need to figured out which model and year (I would look around some usdm accord about ‘12-15)

toyota 90980-11858 is fit on evo10 gus pedal and throttle.
https://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pr...oducts_id/2299

I checked DBW operation using LinkG4+ evolink.
I chose NA4W pedal and throttle because cheaper than evo10. These conector is same as evo10.

Please tell me the kit that uses the evo 10 pedal for evo 7-9.

Here you go mate. There is also a kit without the pedal as well. If you find a pinout diagram for the throttle body, please let me know

4G69 Throttel is same pinout evo10 throttle.

I use 4G69(NA4W) throttle.
Fit on OEM elbow. It is a little tight.

It is the same mounting pitch.

This is APS wiring diagrams same as evo10.

Pin 1 : +5V
Pin 2 : Sensor Ground
Pin 3 : APS (Main)
Pin 4 : +5V
Pin 5 : Sensor Ground
Pin 6 : APS (Sub)
