Clutch Masters FX400 Clutch

Hey everyone quick question about the clutch masters fx400 clutch. I already have this clutch installed on my evo 7 and it’s holding great and I like the pedal feel that it has. I have basic bolt-ons and a tune making 375 awhp and 330 foot pounds of torque. I just purchased an evo 9 turbo that will be installed soon an upgrade to my car’s original turbo that’s showing its age. My mechanic says that my current clutch won’t be able to handle the evo 9 turbo and will slip above 4000 rpms. I don’t think that’s the case since the fx400 is rated at around 500 foot pounds of torque and I know the Evo 9 turbo won’t be able to support that. Just for my peace of mind is my mechanic right or can my fx400 clutch hold?

Your mechanic is wrong, the evo 9 turbo isn't THAT big a deal As previously stated the clutch will be fine

That’s what I figured. Idk why they would say something like this especially being one of the only shops out here that specializes in evos. Maybe I should start looking for another shop lol.
