Flex fuel kit. Buschur? driven fab? Or?
Anyone got any recommendations on which flex fuel kit is a decent buy, like the look for the buschur racing one and driven fab looks good also! Any advice would be appreciated!

For the 8/9 you don't really need a kit. Just buy the innovate gauge. Put the sensor in the return line in the engine bay between the fuel rail and hardline that goes under the chassis. Then wire the gauges analog output to the map switch pin. You can steal a pin from the EGR or EVAP output.

I did mine like this:
**Make sure the gauge is grounded correctly as I had a ground issue which was causing inaccurate e% reading to the stock ecu.
- 3 ft of -6 an braided line

The ECU pin is different between the 8 and 9, which is why I told OP to refer to the map switch diagrams that are easily found.

The above posts are right on the money. Just to addon, its pin 64 for an Evo 9. Also, in case you don’t want to take a pin from another ecu slot, SpoolinUp sells pins for both 8’s and 9’s on his website for cheap.
Don’t waste your money buying one of those “kits”. Recently a popular Evo/STi YouTuber posted two videos using $400 kits that were basically nothing more that just the innovate gauge/sensor that you can find for around $170.

I use the Innovate gauge on my GTR as well and think it is the best route. Racetronix sells the Continental Flex Fuel senders for $67.50 and I also buy all of my hose and fittings from them. They are very inexpensive and the quality is very good and I have never had their fittings leak.
