What are some good bigger bolt on turbo options (beside evo 9 turbo) to push some more boost Currently have and evo 8 with hks 280 cams, valve springs, hks intake, pushing about 330whp on 27psi was looking to get water meth injection and a bigger turbo to get up to around 420whp safely and having the car still be reliable enough to daily if needed.

 

FP 71hta can get you to your goals easy on E85 and plus some. If you don't have access to E85 then an FP green or red will do.

 

Thanks will look into those options, yeah I have no e85 any we’re close that’s why I’m going with meth.

 

I would go with the FP Green or HKS GTII 7460R for your power goal. Both will make the numbers and respond nicely.

 

I second this recommendation. I run the same on S2's & E85. That 1/2 turbo works very well

 

With no E85 around, the 71HTA probably wouldn't take him to the power level he wants. Meth just doesn't give the potential that E85 gives, so he has to go bigger.

Meth sucks ***** driving on the street because your either on or off, and when your off you have to drive like a grandpa and when your on you have to be in crazy mode.
Crazy mode is fun but when your trying to lightly pass someone in crazy mode it doesn’t get fun anymore.
Great for the track though

 

No, you run an input to the map switch pin, when the meth is on, it switches to the meth map. When the math is off, it runs the regular pump gas map. You also wire it in as a failsafe.
