Boost leak?
Hey, guys. My first post here. I was hoping I could get help with something. I believe I have a boost leak. I'm not 100% sure but that's what it feels like. I'll hit the throttle and I can hear the turbo spool but I don't really go anywhere. If i were to have to check for a boost leak, how would I go about doing so? I'm no mechanic but I know my car has problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You can search the forum or check youtube for many posts on this subject.
I've found leaks by just looking around and listening, i use a rubber pipe to my ear or spraying soapy water around the piping can work, I've also made a cap and valve and plugged the IC pipe and blown compressed air in then used soapy water. I've also built a smoke machine let it into the intake while operating. Be careful with smoke as you can blow yourself up pending how you burn the rag lol

Get your self a boost leak tester or make one and use an air compressor. Spray soapy water around areas that can leak. Theres plenty of "how to" out there.
