Talks to find a solution to the issues that surround these boxes has lost momentum. Rather difficult to find 8 persons interested in spend on a solution they have not seen test results or long term usage for.

 

I actually found the info I needed and even got some of the parts but it was too late, the day my stronger wave spring shipped was the day we think one of my planatary gear pins slipped loose and destroyed essential parts. If all goes to plan I'll have a manual in it by next months end or sooner. I will be slowly rebuilding the auto as a project and maybe selling it but with the stronger parts and such. It's a completely safe transmission up to around 350 torque (to be safe) with the planatary pins welded in place and a stronger wave spring. Past that you can get the torque converter rebuilt or just buy a better one, buy new clutch steels and you'll need to adjust other things to keep torque from ripping it apart. Some people chose to share more detailed info with me but it's their secrets not my own so I don't want to say any more but it is possible to run insane hp through it but that'll require some customizing beyond buying parts and even then I think no one in North America has even got it to run at 500/500 for too long on a track BUT that's not the case else where.
