Hey Guys,

need to upgrade my fuel system. trying to decide between Walbro 525 or deatschwerks 400. Hear the 525 can fit the stock housing with the same mods as the 450. From pictures the dw400 look slimmer, but does anyone know if it will fit or not?? Or what needs to be done so it will fit? Thanks everyone.

Goals are 550 WHP with FP red using E85 on 1350cc injectors. Evo 9

 

Stay away from DW products. A Walbro 450 will do 580-600whp or so. Just stick with a 450. If you upgrade to 1650cc injectors and go for 600+ then upgrade to a 525 later.

 

Easy answer. DW products are trash.

So, if you have a 43psi base fuel pressure and around 30boost pressure, the pump at WOT will be around 75psi or even 85psi including fuel pump losses from the stock fuel lines. So, my recommendation to you is the 525. Proven results and very good price. Also, I do not know the noise of the 525, but the 450 that i have on mine, I almost cannot hear it and keep in mind I have a silent muffler
