this fp black is a bb or jb?

Hi
I need help with this turbo that came with the evo 7 that I bought, I didn't like the spool and decided to buy a fp54green bb mhi
I want to sell the fp black but I need to know what it is to have no problem with the buyer,
who sold me the car told me it was a fp black bb old version but I find it strange the inline oil filter is red and supposedly it should be purple

Call or email FP with the serial #. Only way to know for 100% sure.

But the red filter on the feed line is the one they use for JB turbo's, so it's likely a JB.

Give me a picture under the coolant banjo. It looks like a JB but we'll know for certain with this other picture.

Actually, I can see a red inline filter. That's for JB because BB filter is purple (or black with older kits).

Numbers don't mean much since we can use cover on another turbo with similar wheel (modified, of course). But that center nut is used on FP JB turbos.

Nope. This is what I'm looking for. If it looks like a mini freeze plug like this, it's JB. It it sticks out ibstead, then it's BB.

The BB can take more punishment and can sustain higher boost longer without early failure like JB.
