You could never insure it for that much, unless you get some specialized insurance policy which comes with all kinds of restrictions.

Sounds crazy to me, you could find a decent condition evo for low to mid 20's and have tens of thousands of dollars left over to replace upgrade what ever you want.
Yeah insurance wise I was thinking the same thing. Gotta talk to them and just get a feel for it to see if they’d even consider letting go of it. I appreciate the input guys, thanks.

Regarding insurance.

I've got both my evo's under a Haggerty policy. A few pics of the cars, garage and you're all set. They will do stated value up to 50K without a lojack. A GPS isn't a bad idea for what they cost.

Nice! Good to know man. Let me see what happens when I try my luck and ask them and then maybe could be stored away as an investment who knows !

Whats a reliable clutch you’d recommend ? with stock block/bolt ons and an Fp black on e85. Was thinking an ACT street disc kit with the pressure the plate as shown in the pic provided. I believe I had that one on my first Evo 9 with stock turbo/bolt ons and held up great. I know theres different versions to the ACT brand you can pick from. But giving the amount of torque I’ll be making with the black which should be under 450wtq it seems it’ll hold up just fine from what I’ve read...currently running stock clutch now and have never launched the car or had any slippage but just don’t wanna take the chance the stock clutch goes out while on the dyno getting tuned and I end up looking dumb cause I could of just switched it out ahead of time. Thanks

The HDSS will be plenty. Your tuner shouldn't let the car make more than 400wtq with that stock engine.

Yeah he’s telling me now that’s what the goal is and he’s not taking it any further than 400. He said stock clutch should hold all day just fine to just switch it out if it out afterwards if it goes out, for now to just leave it since it’s holding up.

I made 425whp with a JB red on a 18psi actuator using 93 octane but I have s3 cams and kiggly beehives and that was on a walbro 255 and 850's. With bigger injectors and a bigger pump my tuner said 500-525whp on e85 would be easy.

I’ve got a brand new FP oil feed line if someone doesn’t want to pay retail.

I just ordered a Tial QR Bov from STM and they suggested getting an 8 psi spring for the setup I’ll be running. Cars gonna have full bolt ons with an FP black, stock cams on a 93/E85 dual map. Current vacuum for stock turbo right now is idling at 20 inHG but idk if that will possibly change once the Black goes in and getting tuned? And it’ll be fine with the 8psi spring that STM suggested to get wether the vacuum changes or not...Just trying to refrain from having to continuously change out springs and go back and forth on the dyno etc. I know that’s what the process consist of when having a race car haha but just wanted some advice, thanks!

If you aren't running more then 30-32psi a slightly crushed stock bov works really well IMO.
