i actually have used several Saenz 300M rods. designed for 1000HP+, weight 540 grams, about 10% lighter than carriillo, 20% lighter than manley turbo tuff, no need maintenance like aluminum rods. i'd say it is a good choice

1000hp+ should really get aluminum rods to help the rod bearings live.

for an all out race car, agreed, aluminum rods will be a better choice. for a daily driver which sees a lot of mileage with low boost and occasionally turn up the high boost map, 300M rods is the choice to go imho, dont need any maintenance, lightweight, strong.

Aluminum rods don't need any maintenance. Oil temp just needs to stay between 130-230. The rods will outlast a 1000whp 4 cylinder. As far as stretching them is concerned

interested to know who has the highest miles running on aluminum rods on the street? for an all out drag prepped car, aluminum is the best choice though.
