I can design a crankshaft though CAD/CFD but I'm not a professional designer, I do have a friend in Greece who owns a company that manufactures engine parts. I'm sure that if I do send him a design, he can actually manufacture it for me out of forged tool steel or even titanium on one of his 5-Axis, and correct the design if it needs any correction.

His company is DP Engine Parts.

You can disagree with everything I say and that is fine you have your opinions and I respect that. Ask English Racing about how many broken forged cranks they go through. They are one of the leaders if not the leader in doing 2.4 engines here in America. I know they don't do many of them anymore they destroke them to 2.2 something or another which is fine its a bad *** motor regardless. The 2.4 was built for a nt car that is not high rev plain and simple. The design of the crank wasn't made nor designed to take heavy loads and boost even with a different balancer it was made for fuel economy and daily driveablity. You can not compaire a Honda K series engine to a Mitsu engine because they are made differently. Honda knows how to rev an engine its in their blood with their racing haratage, plus they make great lawnmower engines too. If Mitsubishi wanted to make a 2.4 to high rev and compete with the Honda stuff they would have. There is a reason you can't take a plain 2.4 engine out of an eclipse or a gallant and put it in an evo and call it a day. Why? because they aren't built for that. There isn't anything in my build that I held back on. Sure the crank but everything I did and collected was from 2007 when I ordered my pistons and rods to my final build in 2013 after they started doing long rod stuff or made it more available. If i were to do it over again, sure long rod 2.4 no issues what so ever. It took me 6 years to build that engine and car the way I wanted it to so I did. Hell I still need a built trans, t case and get my rear end redone on top of axles. But if I want to keep my relationship with my gf that will have to wait. And how the hell did this thread get off track on what is in my car when I posted what I have as a joke being I knew no one would like it?
