I'm taking off my transmission on my Evo 8 and I am at the point where I separate the throw-out bearing from the pressure plate. My problem is that my car has been converted to a push style clutch, so there is no release fork to push before prying with a screw driver. How do I disengage it so I can pry it apart?? The clutch is a carbonetics, not sure if they made the push kit or if it is another brand. Thanks!!!!

 

if its a push type... it should just come off.
there is nothing for it to lock onto.
the throw out bearing is built into concentric slave cylinder

 

Oh so no need to even mess with trying to pry them apart, it just slides off when the trans is pulled?
